Armco Credit Union Passcode – Terms and Conditions of Use (the “Terms”)
Please read this information carefully and print a copy and/or retain this information electronically for your records.
These Terms apply when Armco Credit Union (hereinafter sometimes “ACU”) initiates a generated passcode. In these Terms, you and your refer to any person that seeks to use the automatic generated passcode verification for security purposes, we, our, and us refers to Armco Credit Union. When you opt in to receive the passcode verification via text message, you agree to these Terms.
Change in Terms
Member Account, Password, and Security
You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any passwords, passcodes and accounts. ARMCO CREDIT UNION WILL ONLY ASK FOR YOUR GENERATED PASSCODE TO ASSIST IN OUR IDENTIFICATION OF YOU AND WILL NEVER ASK FOR AN ONLINE OR MOBILE BANKING PASSWORD.
You agree to notify Armco Credit Union immediately of any unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security. You may not use anyone else’s account at any time, without the permission of the account holder.
No Unlawful or Prohibited Use
As a condition of your use of the Services, you will not use the Services for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by these terms, conditions, and notices. You may not use the Services in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair any Armco Credit Union, server, or the network(s) connected to Armco Credit Union, server, or interfere with any other party’s use and enjoyment of any Services. You may not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any Services, other accounts, computer systems or networks connected to any Armco Credit Union, server or to any of the Services, through hacking, password mining or any other means. You may not obtain or attempt to obtain any materials or information through any means not intentionally made available through the Services.
Contacting You Electronically, and by Email
You consent to receive electronic communications and disclosures from us in connection with your ACU Passcode verification message. You agree that we can contact you by text message we have on file or email at any email address you provide to us in connection with any Credit Union account. You agree to update your contact information with us when it changes. Continued use of an ACU passcode verification message requires that you agree to receive all Passcode notices electronically.
Your privacy and the security of your information are important to us. The Consumer Privacy Notice (available online at https://www.armcocu.com/privacy-notice) applies to your use of the passcode verification message. You agree that we may share your information with the provider, in order to provide the services you have requested.

Additional Terms and Conditions
You agree to keep confidential all personal information to include, but not limited to passcodes, usernames, passwords, ACU account number(s), checking MICR(s), and all ACU issued debit or credit card numbers (as applicable). If you let someone else use your passcode or password, you will be responsible for all claims, losses and other consequences relating to all transactions that have taken placed using this service. If the authentication via this automated generated passcode service fails, we may require additional information from you to verify your identity. You agree that Armco Credit Union is not responsible for the rejection of a passcode.
Release of Liability
You agree that Armco Credit Union is not liable for losses arising from your failure to comply with these Terms and Conditions. Alerts sent via SMS may not be delivered to you if your phone is not in the range of a transmission site, or if sufficient network capacity is not available at a particular time. Even within coverage, factors beyond our control may interfere with message delivery for which Armco Credit Union is not responsible. Armco Credit Union does not guarantee that alerts/notifications will be delivered, nor are we responsible for lost or undelivered messages. MESSAGE AND DATA RATES MAY APPLY.
These Terms are governed by federal law and, to the extent the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania law applies, and the laws of the Commonwealth that apply to the agreement under which your Armco Credit Union account is covered without regard to conflicts of law provisions. To the extent that the terms of this Agreement conflict with applicable state or federal law, such state or federal law shall replace such conflicting terms only to the extent required by law. Unless expressly stated otherwise, all other terms of this Agreement shall remain in full force and effect.
You agree that we may choose to notify you of changes to this agreement by posting updated terms to www.armcocu.com, or by contacting you utilizing the electronic mail or phone number we have for you, or through electronic notice given to you by the provider.
