An active fraud ring is impersonating both Armco CU staff and our fraud monitoring company. Scammers are calling members, requesting debit card information, and then using it to make unauthorized transactions.

Important Reminder:

  • Armco Credit Union will never ask for your debit card number or the three-digit security code (CVC) on the back of your card.
  • If you receive a suspicious call, hang up immediately and call us directly at 724-284-2020.

If you receive a text from our third-party fraud monitoring company, please review it in its entirety before responding. When in doubt, contact the credit union directly to discuss potentially fraudulent activity.

We have increased monitoring and security efforts in response to this fraud activity. Members are urged to remain vigilant and safeguard their personal information by refusing to provide sensitive details over the phone.
