Don’t let your personal information fall into the wrong hands.  Bring us your confidential documents and we’ll professionally shred them for free!  Clean out your files, tax preparation documents, banking and investment statements, credit card statements – anything with your personal information or account numbers listed.  Public and local businesses welcome!

You do not need to be a member of Armco CU.  No limit to the amount of documents you may bring.  However, we reserve the right to turn away large commercial quantities.  Mars branch only.

Keeping Your Garden Strong All Year Long

Keynote Presenter: Doug Oster, gardener & KDKA personality

Doug Oster is Pittsburgh’s Garden Guru. He will discuss tips for maintaining both flower and vegetable gardens. A Q&A session will occur after the presentation for any gardening topic.

Doug is host of the popular radio show The Organic Gardener on KDKA radio every Sunday morning; and he also appears on KDKA-TV’s Pittsburgh Today Live between 9-10 am on Fridays.  He hosted, produced, and wrote the one-hour special “The Gardens of Pennsylvania” for PBS which won the Emmy for Outstanding Documentary.  He founded “Cultivating Success,” a garden program for foster and adoptive children.

Oster’s fifth book, “The Steel City Garden; Creating a One of a King Garden in Black and Gold” demonstrates how to create a garden using Pittsburgh’s favorite colors.  Books on sale after the presentation and Doug will be available for book signing.
